VDL BUBALU - ERVS is the exclusive agent in the US for fresh and frozen semen from the 2000 Dutch Warmblood Stallion VDL Bubalu, owned and trained by Colombian Grand-Prix rider Ricardo Villa. You can find the stallion's data sheet here. You can view videos and photos of the horse by visiting VM Jumpers' website. Click here for the frozen semen contract. CEM (Contagious Equine Metritis) - ERVS is a CEM free facility. None of our Recipient Mares have been exposed to a CEM positive stallion or to embryos produced from a breeding to a CEM positive stallion; they are not considered as being "exposed mares" or "at-risk mares". When required by the State Veterinarian, ERVS follows the CEM testing protocols from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. Please click here for a CEM Fact Sheet. Please click here for the current KY CEM Testing Protocol.

EIA (Equine Infectious Anemia) - Every mare in ERVS' Recipient Herd has a current (within the last 12 months) negative EIA test obtained through a Coggins Test.

Vaccination & Deworming - Every mare in ERVS' Recipient Herd is vaccinated against Influenza, Rhinopneumonitis (Herpes 1 & 4), Eastern and Western Encephalomyelitis, Tetanus, Botulism, Potomac Horse Fever, Rabies and Strangles as per current American Association of Equine Practitioners Vaccination Guidelines. Deworming is based on fecal egg count analysis and anthelmintic subsceptibility patterns determined by ERVS.
